You're right in the middle of the action when you stay at this stunning two-storey apartment overlooking the Place de l'Eglise in the centre of La Clusaz.
You won't need your car - everything the village has to offer is right on your doorstep. You can even walk to the ski lifts! If you want to explore this beautiful area a little further, the ski bus stops nearby.
There's a full programme of entertainment for all ages in La Clusaz, summer and winter, so you'll never be short of something to do.
About the property
This stunning apartment must have one of the best locations in La Clusaz - it's right in the centre of the village, just a few steps from shops, restaurants and ski lifts.
The accommodation is set over two floors, and there's plenty of room for a group of friends or two families.
An external staircase leads you up to the stylish fully-equipped kitchen, which has an oven, microwave oven, induction hob and dishwasher. Three steps lead up to the open plan living area which, like the rest of the property, is decorated in a modern mountain style - lots of wood, leather and natural materials. There are two sofas around a cosy fireplace with the television over - Apple TV gives you access to more than 300 films. There's also a dining table here with bench seating - enough for everyone to sit down to eat together.
The four spacious bedrooms all have en suite shower rooms and their own seating areas, so there's plenty of room to enjoy your own space when you want to. Two of the bedrooms - both doubles with shower rooms - are on the lower floor. The other two are on the next floor up. There's a very large double with a shower room and a balcony and a room perfect for children or teenagers - their own living room with home cinema with Sonos sound system, a WiiU console with games and a twin loft bed reached by a ladder.
There's a useful ski store outside the property, with a heated boot and glove rack as well as a washer-dryer. In the summer, it's a great place to store pushchairs or bikes.
Chalet Artedaz does not have private parking, but covered parking is available nearby and with so much on your doorstep, you may choose not to use your car while you are here!
About the area
La Clusaz is an authentic mountain village which blends tradition with up-to-date facilities. Its traditional chalets and lively streets offer a vibrant setting with Savoyard charm. Nestled in the heart of the Aravis massif, it is only 30 min from Annecy and close to Le Grand-Bornand and Manigod. Its warm atmosphere and easy accessibility make it a popular destination year-round.
In winter, the resort provides easy access to the Aravis ski area, offering 210km of pistes that combine long descents and technical sectors across La Clusaz, Le Grand-Bornand, Manigod, and Saint-Jean-de-Sixt. The region also offers a variety of winter activities, including cross-country skiing, dog sledding, sledging, snow biking, ice diving and ice skating.
During the rest of the year, numerous hiking and biking trails lead to superb views over the Aravis, such as the Plateau des Glières. The village boasts a modern watersports centre providing activities for all ages and a wellbeing area. The nearby Lake Annecy is another great place for swimming, paddleboarding, and sailing. Other summer activities include via ferrata, climbing and paragliding, leaving you with a wealth of memories to take home.

Please note: there is no garage at the apartment, and no private parking available, as the property is right in the centre of town. There are short term paid parking spaces not too far away, including behind the chalet, and a 15 minute "drop-off" zone in front of the Tourist Office opposite the chalet. You can use these spaces for unloading and loading your car.
The apartment is located on the top floor of a building, on the town square. There is a restaurant (La Chavinette) on the ground floor.
The owner requires a €1,000 damage and excess cleaning guarantee to be set up before arrival. No funds are taken or blocked on your card. Your card details are securely held for up to 14 days after departure. If no charge is required, they will be deleted.

The OVO Network Review
Chalet Artedaz has an area of 117m² and can accommodate eight people. There are four bedrooms and four bathrooms, Accessed by an outside flight of nine stairs, It is situated on the first and second floors of a historic building right in the heart of La Clusaz village.
From here, you can walk to all the shops, bars, restaurants and facilities in the station of La Clusaz - the ice rink is three minutes away, along with the main ski lifts. Being able to walk to the lifts in winter is a real bonus - you won't need to battle the traffic and you can leave your car in the village centre covered car park.
You'll also be glad of the ski room with boot and glove warmers and room to store all your equipment.
There are four well-designed and comfortable bedrooms. There are several seating areas, where you can find your own space to relax, or enjoy the home cinema.
The kitchen area is well equipped and functional.

We immediately fell in love with the village station, which is so chic and traditional.
A year later we had the chance to buy a beautiful apartment in the heart of the village and the oldest house in La Clusaz.
It was to become Chalet Artedaz.
We spent a year planning, refurbishing, decorating and equipping it so that everyone is able to feel at home!
